The P Audio X Class Mark II features many performance enhancements and upgrades. The X Class 15P Mark II utilizes a newly developed 15 inch (380mm) low frequency transducer that features Neodymium magnetics. This design offers lighter weight and substantially higher performance to weight ratios. The large 76mm diameter voice coil and ultra high temperature construction offer excellent system reliability. The X-15P Mark II is an excellent choice for both portable and fixed installation environments and is ideal for live music, speech reproduction and DJ applications.
The X Class 15P Mark II also features an upgraded professional format 1.75 inch (44mm) titanium diaphragm compression driver that offers both extended bandwidth reproduction and superior vocal range intelligibility. This new medium format compression driver also utilizes Neodymium based magnetics and very high efficiency. The driver is coupled to an advanced flare rate horn that provides a rated included angle coverage pattern of 90 degrees in the horizontal axis and 45 degrees in the vertical axis.
The design features optimized passive second order filters and multiple Speakon inputs for high current and high power applications.
The system also features four recessed M10 rigging points for easy fixed and permanent installation as well as a standard 35mm pole mounting socket. The high impact polycarbonate enclosure and rugged design insure the X Class 15P Mark II will provide superior performance in demanding professional applications.
